Katka Adams has created a series of visual fables exploring reconciliation ecology – the science of accommodating wild species within human-modified or occupied landscapes. This exhibition includes works on paper illustrating animals within interior environs and pieces of furniture. Using pastel with an expressive line and limited colour palette, Adams’ subjects are rendered with realism and have a strong narrative focus.
