Anna Gonzalez’s Catholic upbringing in Spain is a constant source of inspiration for her painstaking works, created through a combination of painting and incisions into wooden panels. In this exhibition Gonzalez explores the relationship between objects of devotion and memory. Her own memories of divinities wallowing in sorrow or exposed in sensual positions with agonising expressions pervade this exhibition.
