The year 2022 brings an ever-changing world and a new program of Redland Art Gallery (RAG) exhibitions inviting us to connect, reflect and be inspired. This year we are working with more than 200 artists across 18 solo, group and national touring exhibitions. These can be viewed at our Cleveland and Capalaba galleries and also online for those times when you might not be able to visit us in person.

Working across a diverse range of mediums, the artists in the 2022 program contemplate the world we live in, as well as exploring notions of identity, storytelling and culture of place. Exhibitions will be held in conjunction with this year’s golden jubilee celebrations of Redland Museum. Also returning is Redland Art Awards 2022, our biennial national contemporary painting competition.

Other offerings include the RAG Collection Showcase at the Redland Performing Arts Centre Mezzanine, where a selection of acquisitions are being showcased year-round. The RAG Red Box Pop-Up Gallery will also support artists at various locations across Redlands Coast on Quandamooka Country.

There are enriching experiences to be had with our artists, local art groups and exhibition partners with accompanying workshops and events to be released seasonally. We’ll keep you up-to-date through our website, social media and public program flyers. Thank you for your ongoing interest, involvement and support for our artists. Please read on for more details. We look forward to seeing you at RAG throughout the year.
