In Visualising the Written Word, the artists of Redland Yurara Art Society Inc. explore the interplay between the visual and the written. Seeking inspiration from a variety of written stimuli, including poetry, song lyrics, personal correspondence and prose, the artists offer fresh, creative responses to their chosen sources.

Beyond illustration, each work offers a glimpse into the psyche of the artist, exploring both their selected written piece and their artistic response. From the deeply personal to the abstract, the breadth of works offered demonstrates the vast possibilities of creativity.
