Performing Presence brings together artworks from the Redland Art Gallery Collection by contemporary artists of note.

Working across collage, photography, illustration and painting, the artworks in this exhibition use mediums and formal styles to define notions of the self. Grounded in lived experience, some artworks evoke popular culture as a method of representing the self and community, while others focus on a captured moment or a staged scene. Each artwork addresses the ways that lived experience is shaped by specific social and political contexts.

Featuring artists, Tony Albert and Natalya Hughes, Michael Cook, Gerwyn Davies, Yavuz Erkan, Petrina Hicks, Dylan Mooney, Monica Rohan, Keemon Williams, William Yang.
