THERE IS ANOTHER WORLD: TIDAL COLLECTIVE

There is always something beyond what we first see. There is Another World focuses on the fragile ecosystem of the mangroves that exist between tide and land of Southern Moreton Bay. The works include textiles, painting, printmaking, sculpture and drawing, reflecting Tidal Collective’s individual responses to aspects of the mangroves. These elements include, physiology, formation, how the mangroves deal with complex problems such as extreme weather, propagation, arboreal community, and what happens in the night, what lies beneath the water.
