In this exhibition, Redland Yurara Art Society members have created work in response to a selection of works by the Old Masters – the European painters practising before 1800 and well-known Modernist painters. When starting on their artistic journey Yurara Art Society members have often attempted to emulate the work they most admire from various art movements and this has provided the inspiration for their latest exhibition: Interpreting the Great Masters.
Redland Yurara Art Society is the oldest art group in the Redlands Coast dating back to 1962 and maintains a membership of almost 100 artists per year encouraging artists of
all levels.
