Impression of Mangroves is a series of paintings by Brisbane‑based artist Mei Mei Liu. Taking inspiration from Redlands Coast’s unique environment, Liu reflects on her regular visits to Wellington Point (Cullen-Cullen) and observations of mangrove forests along the shorelines. Liu’s unique painting style is a hybrid of elements learnt from her training in Chinese painting combined with other western techniques and influences.
