In the latest intergovernmental panel on climate change we were warned that we have 12 years to act in order to limit global warming to no more than 1.5C

In Australia, fire flood and drought are more prevalent than ever before. We are currently in a Climate Emergency, Australia has just experienced nine out of ten of the highest temperatures since 2005.

Yanni creates work about humans relationships between their actions and the events that are the consequences.
For every action there is a reaction, our choice is how we respond to these issues.
Fire Flood, drought, climate change is at the fore as are issues derived from mining.

“Sadly there is no shortage of material to make work regarding humans impact on the planet. Nature offers wider, excitement, beauty and intellect. How can I not make work in defence of preserving what in essence preserves us?’
