Jennifer Andrews’ drawings in Littoral Vista source the urban region of the littoral zone of the Brisbane River. An area often overlooked, it is where the water and land metaphorically embrace. Her works depict tiny sections of ripples and residue created by the wash from river-craft. Changing scale and arrangement, Andrews invites the viewer into a dialogue of interpretation as the actual and the imagined combine and ‘hidden landscapes’ emerge.
