Queensland Government restrictions

From 17 December 2021, the Queensland Government is implementing restrictions for people who are not fully vaccinated.

From that date, people aged 16 and over will be required to provide proof of vaccination status or medical exemption to enter Redland Art Gallery and visitors will still need to check in using the QR code.

RAG, Cleveland 

Conditions in place:

  • client registration required on entry (‘Check in Qld app’) download from the App Store or Google Play 
  • proof of vaccination status or medical exemption
  • face mask to be worn
  • hand sanitising station at the reception desk
  • social distancing must be maintained with an average of two square metres per person
  • signage in place and
  • increased cleaning is in place.  

RAG, Capalaba 

Conditions in place:

  • entry and exit to RAG, Capalaba is through the Customer Service Centre (RAG employees will regulate entry through to the gallery)
  • client registration required on entry (‘Check In Qld app’) download from the App Store or Google Play
  • proof of vaccination status or medical exemption
  • face mask to be worn
  • hand sanitising station at entry
  • social distancing must be maintained with an average of two square metres per person and
  • signage is in place.

Children’s art and craft activities still available online.

Redland City Council is following the staged approach outlined by the Queensland Government’s COVID Safe Future Roadmap to make sure we meet all the requirements to keep you and our teams safe:

  • we are adhering to the National COVID-19 Safe Work Principles
  • we are using the ‘Check In Qld app’ so you can register your visit on arrival
  • face mask to be worn
  • cleaning has been increased to ensure the safety of visitors and staff
  • hand sanitiser stations are located at the gallery entry points
  • social distancing must be maintained with an average of two square metres per person and
  • signage is displayed in each gallery space advising visitors of how many people are allowed in each gallery space.
