In Response, Carol McGregor, an artist of Wathaurung and Scottish descent, reflects on what was here, looked after and used as a resource before colonisation. Extending her research through discussion and consultation with Quandamooka and south-east Queensland Aboriginal communities, Response will be anchored by a possum skin cloak specific to Quandamooka Country. The exhibition also includes a new series of sculptural works.

An exhibition held in conjunction with National Reconciliation Week 2021 and NAIDOC Week 2021.

Connecting Stories: Every region has its own stories. During May 2021 regional galleries in South East Queensland North will showcase First Nations exhibition programs. Sharing stories across Country to celebrate culture and connect to each other.
