The exhibition will be designed to guide viewer’s chronologically through artworks, highlighting material developments in their practice.
The Coochie Art Group (CAG) is comprised of a small but dedicated group of local artists who share a passion for art and learning. 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of the first exhibition held by CAG on the Redlands Coast. In 1973 CAG members installed artworks on ropes strung between trees at the Coochiemudlo Island foreshore. The sense of enthusiasm and ingenuity displayed in this initial makeshift show has grown over the years, with members of the group still committed to enriching the cultural life of the Redlands through regular workshops, exhibitions and events.
