Land Lines is a series of paintings and drawings by Julie Manning, which reinterpret and re-imagine landscapes from northern New South Wales, southern Queensland, and Moreton Bay. Using mark-making and line as an underpinning thread, these semi-abstract works draw our attention to both artificial and natural forms in a landscape. Collectively, these mixed-media pieces invite us to imagine and re-define what is often seen as common ground.
