We are delighted to be celebrating Redland Art Gallery’s (RAG) 15th Birthday this year as well as launching our 2018 program of exhibitions, events and workshops.
Throughout the year, as part of the celebrations, we will be sharing our love of the visual arts, expanding opportunities for local artists and offering over 90 exhibitions, events and workshops for you to be involved in.
Stop in at RAG, Cleveland on Valentine’s Day and enjoy a piece of Birthday cake. Come along to an open event. Book in for a workshop or view our diverse range of exhibitions by artists and artisans, many drawing inspiration from the Redlands.
We have extended our opening hours on the Easter long weekend to coincide with the Gold Coast 2018 XXI Commonwealth Games (GC2018) Queen’s Baton Relay in support of Quandamooka artist Delvene Cockatoo-Collins who has been engaged to design the artwork for the GC2018 medals. This is an outstanding achievement. Visitors can view Delvene’s exhibition The Search for Warrajamba and Salt Marsh Whispers by Jo-Anne Driessens at this time.
We can’t wait to have you visit our Cleveland and Capalaba galleries which will feature a mix of solo, group, national touring exhibitions and our biennial contemporary painting prize Redland Art Awards. This year we are also launching the RAG Red Box Pop-Up Gallery which will move to various locations in the Redlands.
There are just too many fantastic exhibitions to list here so please explore the RAG website for more exhibition details, dates and how you can get involved in our celebrations.
We look forward to seeing you at RAG soon!
